On today’s Morning Magazine, we discuss this week’s historic Colorado River deal. The agreement announced Monday by California, Nevada, and Arizona helps in the short term but may make harder choices necessary in the long term, according to Colorado River expert Jack Schmidt.  After that, Boulder’s oldest running event?  It’s not the Bolder Boulder.  Students at Columbine Elementary have run an annual one-mile race around their neighborhood since 1978. We hear some sound from yesterday’s race. Then, it’s our regular Wednesday features: Chris Mohr’s commentary “Make Them Hear You” and local herbalist Brigette Mars with “Naturally.”

In all her work, she strives to produce thought-provoking, trustworthy journalism that makes other people's stories feel personal. In addition to audio production, Kenyon runs KGNU's news internship program and oversees the department's digital engagement.
