Planned Parenthood on Monday announced that it was withdrawing from Title X federal funding over the gag rule. This is reminiscent of what happened in Colorado in 1999 when then Governor Bill Owens cut state funding for abortion providers, that lead to Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains developing a funding model relying on community support. Adrienne Mansanares, Chief Experience Officer at Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, talks about the impact of the loss of Title X funding for other reproductive health care providers.
