Metro: The Legacy of Colorado’s Hippie Counterculture

Colorado State Historian Bill Convery talks about the “1968: The Year That Rocked History” exhibit at History Colorado, the evolution of hippie counterculture, and alternative ways that emerged at that time in the U.S. to address what was happening around racial, social, political, and anti-war issues. He also previews his presentation “The Hippie Problem” at History Colorado Center Tuesday night at 7pm as part of our KGNU Thank You Party.
