Metro Caring Denver is a local, non-profit, frontline leading organization and an important community partner that has been serving the Denver Community since 1974 in the fight against hunger.
Approaching its 50th Anniversary, Metro Caring Denver continues to work closely with local surrounding communities to meet people’s immediate needs for nutritious, culturally relevant food while building a movement to end hunger at its root.
Metro Caring Denver hosts innovative programming in healthy food access, nutrition education, cooking classes, ID procurement, urban gardening and agriculture, community wealth building, and community organizing.
