The town of Nederland suffered a massive blow to their community two weeks ago, October as more than a dozen businesses burned down in fire at a central shopping center. However, a staple community project, the Carousel of Happiness survived the blaze.

KGNU’s Don Davis sat down with Carousel owner Scott Harrison to hear the miraculous story of how the carousel got put together, and about the ride owner’s plans to remain a community resource during this local tragedy.
