Len Barron says if we held on to what we were at three-years-old, we’d all be geniuses. Hear why

There’s nothing quite like spending an hour or two with a child. The sense of play and curiosity they approach just about everything with, the joy they get from the simple things, the lack of filter they have when expressing their feelings and opinions…

At three-years-old, we’re geniuses. And then, we lose it. At least, that’s what Len Barron thinks.

Len has lived in Boulder for decades, and had an interview program on KGNU for 10 years. He’s worked as a professor at CU, a playwright, and an author. And he firmly believes that if we held on to what we were at three years old, we’d all be geniuses. If we could all embrace fairness, beauty, and playfulness, our lives would be so much different – for the better. Len’s new book YES…Children, Albert Einstein, and Niels Bohr explores this idea, and other philosophical concepts, through the lens of these scientific legends.

Len joined KGNU’s Jackie Sedley in-studio for a special Fund Drive edition of A Public Affair.

Len will have a book signing at the Boulder Bookstore on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 6:30 p.m. You can find more details at BarronBBS.eventbrite.com.
