New Family Dog w/ CC Ryder & Dirty Beets @ Roots Music Project

Funky jazz fusion from Jon Blackdog’s new project New Familydog , with Miles Ridnell and Dave Watts – genre-bending jams. Boulder’s CC Ryder & the Dirty Beets mash up rock, rap, reggae and more for a high-energy hootenanny.

New Familydog

New Familydog is Jon Blackdog’s Ridnell latest funk, jazz rock project. With he and his son Miles Ridnell on bass and vocals, they are performing various styles, including: funk, jazz, rock, blues, New Orlean’s second-line, afro-beat, and many more. With one full length release Silverline, under their belt, their sophomore release will feature Dave Watts(Motet) on the drums. The band has grown in size to include a three-piece horn section. Stay tuned for more to come!

CC Ryder & Dirty Beets

CC Ryder & Dirty Beets is a Boulder Based Band, Creating Unique Covers, and Original Music that can adapt to all of your musical needs. CC Ryder & Dirty Beets have mixed diverse styles of Rock, Rap, Reggae, Folk, Funk, Americana and Bluegrass, into a unique sound with a lively landscape and energy.
