Kenyan Environmental Leader Visits Colorado

Kenyan environmental change maker visits Colorado to share experiences and exchange ideas about community empowerment and environmental stewardship.

Dr. Irene Amoke, Executive Director of Kenya Wildlife Trust, recently paid a visit to Boulder on her way to Fort Collins before traveling to other states as part of an Eisenhower Fellowship to gather environmental leaders and share solutions on how to tackle climate change.

KGNU’s Rossana Longo Better caught up with Dr. Amoke after she presented her work at a colloquium, as part of the Sewall Stories societies residential academic program, earlier this week at the Women’s Wilderness Harbeck-Bernheim House on University Hill.
