“This Is [Not] Who We Are” at the Boulder Public Library, hosted by BSURJ

Boulder’s chapter of Showing up for Racial Justice – also known as BSURJ – is a collective of community members that organizes, mobilizes, and works to educate white people to act for justice.

They kickstarted a “Justice Film Series” back in July, and are now hosting events as a part of this series every first Saturday of the month through December.

The next film screening is tomorrow, Saturday Sept. 7, at 6:15 p.m. at the Boulder Public Library. The screenings are always followed by conversations – in this case, the screening of “This Is [Not] Who We Are” tomorrow will be followed by a discussion with Director Katrina Miller and community member Petro Silva.

Mylene Vialard is a core member of BSURJ, and shared some details with KGNU’s Jackie Sedley about the upcoming event.
