Author Josh Ruebner on Obama’s Israeli-Palestinian Policies

Maeve Conran spoke with author and activist Josh Ruebner about ongoing U.S. policies towards Israel and Palestine and the failure of the current administration to broker a peace deal.

Following Israel’s devastating attack on the Palestinian Gaza Strip this summer, the Obama administration’s goal of brokering Israeli-Palestinian peace appears more distant than ever. To shed light on why the United States has been unable to achieve success despite more than twenty years of effort Josh Ruebner will discuss his book Shattered Hopes: Obama’s Failure to Broker Israeli-Palestinian Peace.

Ruebner will be speaking this Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m at Eaton Humanities Room 250, University of Colorado, Boulder. He will also be speaking Thursday in Ft. Collins at 7pm  in the Community Room at the Coloradoan Newspaper, 1300 Riverside Drive.
