Today kicks off Air Quality Awareness Week. Several federal agencies – including the Environmental Protection Agency, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Weather Service – come together to raise awareness about the importance of clean air. Each day of the week will focus on a different aspect of air quality. Today’s topic is wildfire and smoke.

On today’s Morning Magazine, News Director Shannon Young spoke with Dr. James Crooks, a researcher in the Division of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at National Jewish Health in Denver.
