On a cold, foggy morning, Michelin-honored chef Natascha Hess dropped by Radio Nibbles to talk with John Lehndorff about the new, warming dishes she is serving at Ginger Pig, 1203 13th St. in Boulder. The menu includes spicy tom kha broth, Korean beef kimchi stew, char sui pork, Japanese fried chicken and Sichuan spicy eggplant. Hess is a Mandarin-speaking former collegiate hockey player and lawyer who opened her dream Asian street food truck in Boulder, which became a celebrated Denver eatery and now is a new take-out and delivery spot on the Hill. She also talked about the best thing she’s eaten lately – steamed dumplings at another new Asian eatery on the Hill.
