Frozen Dead Guy Days Will Rise Again This Weekend

Tonight starts off a three-day world renowned Frozen Dead Guy Days Festival in Nederland. The festival, which includes events like a coffin race and a frozen T-shirt contest, 34 bands and a silent disco, has been running for 20 years. The New York Times called it one of the top 10 winter festivals in the country next to Mardis Gras in New Orleans.
KGNU’s Alexis Kenyon talked with event organizer Amanda McDonald, who owns the festival, and Annemarie Jacar, the communications and music coordinator, about this year’s festival.
