The February edition of Black Talk featured a conversation about the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. This month’s program centers the voices of three Boulder High School students who reflect not only on what happened in Tulsa in 1921 but on the effect historical incidents have on them now. Our conversation also focuses attention on the history being made today — their lives as Black students in a predominantly white high school and city – along with their desires to be seen and heard as the smart, beautiful, funny, thoughtful and fully-formed human beings they are.
