From Blackbelly burritos to Moxie cinnamon rolls: Kitchen Table Talk KGNU News

Food-filled Fund Drive fun was on the menu March 5 on Kitchen Table Talk, KGNU’s monthly, hour-long food discussion program. Hosts John Lehndorff (Radio Nibbles) and chefs Dan Asher (Boulder’s River & Woods) & Hosea Rosenberg (Blackbelly and Santo) talk about the state of food with Rick Hickerson and Laura Fessenden from Moxie Bread Co.

On today’s Fund Drive edition of Radio Nibbles, host John Lehndorff and guest JJ Rademaekers of Souper Star Soups discussed supporting community radio and local food news, including the newly passed HB26-1033, coined the “Tamale Act.”

In other food news, Rachel Irons and Verity Noble, co-founders of Boulder-born Nude Foods Market, will present their sustainable grocery model on March 11 on NBC’s “Shark Tank” program.

A new documentary, “Pieowa: A Piece of America,” is coming back to celebrate National Pie Day at the Dairy Arts Center for five showings, March 11-14. Tickets can be found here.
