Flood Awareness in Boulder

Yesterday marked the official start of the 2014 flood season and this week the city of Boulder launched its annual flood awareness information campaign which focuses on awareness, personal preparedness and recovery. In the wake of the floods of September 2013– the city is urging the message of personal awareness and preparedness, along with its traditional flood safety message, ‘It can happen in a FLASH.’ Mike Banuelos with the City of Boulder joins us live in the studio to discuss the campaign. There will be a meeting this evening  from 6 – 9 p.m., with a presentation at 7 p.m. at Casey Middle School, 1301 High St. in Boulder. Find out more about Boulder’s flood awareness campaign at BoulderFloodInfo.net.
