PoCo in BoCo: Finding Common Ground

As part of our new monthly series looking at issues facing People of Color in Boulder County (PoCo in BoCo), co-hosts Tracey Jones and Nikhil Mankekar speak with local poet and educator Norma Johnson about finding common ground across differences.

Johnson is a facilitator that brings her thirty plus years as healer, poet/writer and performing artist to the quest for social justice. He works aims at bridging community dialogues and relationships. Her poetry about race is being used by educators across the country to inspire awareness and discussion about race, privilege and class.
