On Monday, June 19th, The Colorado Theater Guild hosted a new panel event at the Denver Center for Performing arts. The event, called, “Everyone’s a Critic. Literally.”, invited theater practitioners across the front range to participate in an in-depth discussion about the current state of theater critics in journalism, both traditional and digital.
The panel included:
- Juliet Wittman from Denver’s Westword,
- Michael J. Duran from Boulder’s Dinner Theater
- Rick Yaconis from The Edge Theater Company
- Deb Flomberg, CTG President and Equinox Theatre Co-Executive Director
- Patrick Dorn, independent critic
- Moderator: DCPA Senior Arts Journalist John Moore (formerly of the Denver Post)
