Eco-psychology: Dr. Lori Pye

“A human being is a living, breathing, walking eco-system because we share many of the same processes that we see in nature happening around us all the time.”

Eco-psychology is the idea that all of life’s systems are linked through multiple relationships. The human psyche is an ecosystem that connects us biologically, ecologically, and psychologically through vast webs of exchanges and vicissitudes across systems that are not always obvious or visible. Dr. Lori Pye comes to town May 1st and 2nd for a lecture and workshop on Eco-psychology. Her talk is titled, Psyche as Ecosystem. KGNU’s Nikki Kayser chats with Dr. Pye about the field of Eco-Psychology.
