Dot Org: Equal Pay Act

Senate Bill 85 (SB 19-085: The Equal Pay for Equal Work Act) was introduced January 18, 2019. At the federal level the gender gap in pay is not due to be closed until 2060.  So SB 85 is designed to take state control over this issue and eliminate some of the loopholes in federal law.  Colorado Women’s Bar Association President Catherine Shea, and Public Policy Committee member Charlotte Sweeney talk with host Rae Solomon.
