In 1985 Colorado passed legislation doubling all felony sentences and the prison population doubled in the next five years. Ending mass incarceration and the overuse of the criminal justice system requires a dismantling of this architecture with a new vision for community health and safety. This is the mission of the Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition (CCJRC). Juston Cooper, Deputy Director, talks with host Sean Hedden.
