CU reproductive rights org promotes the dangers of crisis pregnancy centers

Crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) promote themselves as legitimate reproductive health care clinics with affordable prices, offering a wide range of options for pregnant individuals. In reality, according to Planned Parenthood and other reproductive health organizations, they’re much less safe than standard abortion clinics and are not for those looking to get an abortion.

KGNU’s Jackie Sedley spoke with Buffs4RR president Helena Neufeld. The two talked about the dangers they feel these pregnancy centers pose.

Buffs4RR is a registered student organization at CU Boulder, as well as a Planned Parenthood Generation Action chapter. They’re campus-focused, education-focused, and engage in political advocacy, sexual education, and provide menstrual supplies to students and the community here in Boulder.
