The Marshall Fire “No Return” Project

We’re coming up on the one year anniversary of the most destructive wildfire to ever hit an urban area of Colorado. More than one thousand homes were destroyed in Boulder County, mostly in Superior and Louisville and recovery has been slow.

This semester, the Boulder Reporting Lab teamed up with graduate students at CU Boulder’s Center for Environmental Journalism to document the aftermath of the firestorm on the lives of those directly affected.
Three people involved with the project were guests on today’s Morning Magazine. Stacy Feldman is the founder and publisher of Boulder Reporting Lab. Zain Iqbal and Ali Branscombe are two of seven CU grad students who participated in the reporting project.
