Community Powered Movements Fighting Climate Change

“We’ve really brought together an unlikely alliance of farmers, ranchers, native american communities and urban hipsters, all together to really say we don’t want this risky fossil fuel project going through our land and water.”

Jane Kleeb is with the grassroots group Bold Nebraska. That was formed by Nebraskans who were concerned about the Keystone XL pipeline going through their state and across ranches and farms. Jane Kleeb will be speaking about how to build a successful people powered movement around issues of sustainability on Wednesday in Boulder.
