March 8th is International Women’s Day and to mark the occasion The Women’s Collaborative of Boulder County is presenting a forum Each for Equal: Celebrating Progress Towards Equal Pay, Equal Representation & Equal Voices for Women.

    Challenging the Gender Pay Gap on International Women’s Day KGNU News

The event will feature keynote speaker Lucy Marsh, the University of Denver law professor who started the Equal Pay litigation against the University that resulted in a Settlement Agreement which required the university to pay $2.66 million, submit to independent monitoring for six years – and give significant pay raises to all the women law professors involved.

The event will also celebrate the work of the WCBC 2020 International Women’s Day Honorees Speaker of the Colorado House KC Becker and Longmont community leader and advocate Carmen Ramirez.
