Razz Gormley of Frack Free Colorado was one Coloradan who took action against Royal Dutch Shell to attempt to block their ice breaker, The Fennica from leaving port and from heading to Alaska. The climbers dangled from the St. John’s Bridge for two days, forcing the ship to turn back to port.
Hundreds took part in the actions from the ground, the sea, and from the bridge to stop the ship. Here he talks to KGNU about what happened and how he is motivated to carry what he learned to Colorado actions against fracking. He plans a weekend training session in Boulder on Saturday.
