Boulder resident inducted into National Inventors Hall of Fame

University of Colorado, Boulder alumnus (Ph.D), Gary D. Sharp was recently inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame. Sharp, alongside Inductee Kristina Johnson, invented polarization-control technology used in products such as projections televisions, front-projection displays and more 3D digital cinema installations today. As a Ph.D student in Boulder, he co-founded Boulder Nonlinear Systems where he was President until 1998. He holds over 90 U.S. Patents, continues to invent.
