Boulder Activist Remembered at Bandshell Memorial

She was formerly homeless and up until her last day, an activist for homeless rights, Nicole Cisneros lost her life earlier this month after many illnesses that may have been the result of life on the streets.

On Wednesday she was remembered by the metro community who knew her on the streets or knew her as a homeless advocate.  Her supporters came from all over the metro area and from all walks of life.   Those who were close to her called her “The Crazy Jesus Lady” because of faith that she referenced in life on the streets and in her advocacy work.
