Booktalk: Thriller writer Steve Hamilton talks about “The Second Life of Nick Mason”

Known for creating captivating crime series characters including Alex McKnight, Steve’s newest book doesn’t disappoint. It’s the first in an exciting series featuring a Chicago man who’s just been released early from prison and the price that he pays for that. Think murder and mayhem. Steve also discusses his own cautionary tale of broken promises and how after 12 books, awards and bestseller lists, it led to his own second life as an author. He said, “I got so much response from all over the world. It was overwhelming and humbling. I was standing up for a lot of writers.”
