Booktalk: Teacher Rafe Esquith, author of “Lighting Their Fires”

Author of several books, Rafe teaches fifth grade at inner-city Hobart Elementary School in Los Angeles. Each year his students put on a Shakespeare play.  He is the only teacher to have been awarded the president’s National Medal of the Arts, along with many other honors.
