The National Trust for Historic Preservation named Boggsville Historic Site in Bent County, Colo., a National Treasure. The Santa Fe Trail trading village is deemed as being significant because of its history of being a mixture of peoples and cultures, and it’s also connected to the Sand Creek Massacre which happened 150 years ago this Saturday. We hear from Amy Webb, the field director for the Denver field office of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
