Senator Bernie Sanders from Vermont stopped in Denver on Saturday June 20th as part of his campaign to secure the Democratic presidential nomination. Sanders addressed more than 5000 people at Denver University, with a capacity crowd of 3000 in the auditorium with more than 2000 people listening and watching live from the adjoining lacrosse field. Sanders spoke on a variety of topics including repealing the Citizen’s United vote, taking down the Trans Pacific Partnership agreement (TPP) and the problem of income inequality.
