This Spring semester of 2023, Media Gardens collaborated with I Have a Dream Foundation’s (IHDF) Angevine Middle School Dreamers cohort in Lafayette, CO. During the workshop, Angevine’s 6th grade dreamer scholars learned to produce short podcasts on topics that are meaningful to them. This bilingual podcast series includes a wide range of topics, from protecting animals to mental health and chess, among others. Thank you to Rebecca Shanfield, lead dreamers cohort mentor, for the opportunity to share these young voices with KGNU listeners and IHDF’s greater community.
