Over 1,200 Democratic Party faithful were in Denver over the weekend to elect new party officers and to honor former Colorado Democratic leaders. The gathering occurred under the umbrella of the 6th annual Obama Dinner. KGNU’s Joe Richey was there and chatted with reporter Alexis Kenyon about what transpired and its significance within the statewide political context.
