How To Dine In Boulder On Earth Day, Plus, Where To Find A Newsworthy Reuben

On the April 20 edition of Radio Nibbles host, John Lehndorff recalled the first Earth Day in 1970 and talked with guest Dana Faulk Query, co-owner of the Big Red F Restaurant Group (Jax, Centro, The Post, etc) about connecting restaurants and regenerative agriculture through the Zero Footprint program.
John waxed poetic about a nearly perfect, East Coast-style Reuben sandwich he savored this week at Kenny Lou’s Deli inside Lafayette’s Button Rock Bakery. The deli cures its own corned beef and layers it hot with house-made kraut, Emmenthal cheese, and 1000 Island dressing on grilled rye bread and dishes it with a half sour pickle spear and hot from the fryer fries. Next week’s Radio Nibbles takes a bite out of a touch topic: Restaurant Tipping and a living wage.
