Are Humans Cities Acting Like Malignant Growths on the Ecosystem?

What are the environmental implications of a global population that keeps expanding year after year? Can the planet handle the pressures of humanities demand for resources? And why have we – as supposedly intelligent homo sapiens, been unable to halt a march toward the destruction of our own environment?

Those are some of the questions at the core of Homo Ecophagus; A Deep Diagnosis to Save the Earth. The book is by local author, professor and physician, Dr. Warren Hern – who was a guest today on the Morning Magazine.
