After three venues cancelled, Melat Kiros took to Denver’s Capitol steps KGNU News
Last weekend, Democratic congressional candidate Melat Kiros held a rally at the state capitol after three local venues cancelled or declined to host the rally. Supporters say venue owners pulled out because of Kiros’s leftist politics.
KGNU’s Taran Volckhausen was at the rally, and he brings us this report.

Kiros is running for election to the U.S. House to represent Colorado’s 1st Congressional District. She is running against CU Regent Wanda James and incumbent Diana DeGette in the Democratic primary on June 30.
