Banff Mountain Film Festival visits Denver this weekend KGNU News
The Banff Mountain Film Festival returns to Denver this weekend. This traveling international film festival showcases both short and long-form films, highlighting the stunning natural beauty of our world and celebrating the great outdoors. Hear more about what you can expect to see at this weekend’s screenings on today’s Morning Magazine.
Rocky Mountain Community Radio’s Maeve Conran sat down with Ashley Hanlon from the Colorado Mountain Club about what attendees can expect.
“They’re all wonderfully curated with some shorter films that usually include one longer film that people can sit through. It’s just to give you a good variation of some snow films, some biking films, some family-oriented films. Each night gives you a truly good variation of all things mountain adventure,” Hanlon said.
The Banff Mountain Film Festival is taking place at the Stockyard Events Center in Denver, hosted by the Colorado Mountain Club. It runs from tomorrow, Friday, March 6, through Sunday, March 8. Find out more at cmc.org.
