What shows do you host on KGNU and how long have you been with the station?
I host Morning Sound Alternative, Sound Lab, and Highway 322. I have been volunteering with the station since 2017 and DJing for about a year and a half.
Who is your favorite artist and/or album of all time?
My favorite artist of all time would be the Beatles. Favorite album of all time is tough but I’m going with Paul Simon-Rhythm of the Saints. I love the harmonies and heavy Brazilian percussion. It puts you in a meditative state, but still has some songs you can dance to.
What is your Zodiac sign and what (if anything) does it say about you?
I am a Leo. I do love the stage and the spotlight. I’m very passionate about the things I love (like music). I can be bossy and have a bit of an ego, but I lead with my heart and am fiercely loyal.
If you could have any musician’s record collection, whose would it be?
Louie Vega. You get all of the Masters at Work records, plus what I am imagining is an amazing mix of funk, soul, latin and jazz.
What song do you never get tired of playing on air?
Bob Marley-Coming in From the Cold.
What is something most people would be surprised to learn about you?
My childhood dream jobs were being a cartoonist or stand-up comedian.
