Local Community Groups Organize 10th Annual World AIDS Day Commemoration at Park Hill Church in Denver Jack Armstrong
Today is December 1st, or World AIDS Day, a recognition of those living their lives while being HIV positive and a commemoration of those who have lost their lives to the disease. While the day of recognition started in 1988, 2025 marks the 10th year the event is celebrated in Denver’s Park Hill United Methodist Church.
For now, we turn to Justin Levy, Executive Director of Center for Health and Hope, one of the key sponsors and organizers of the event, to talk about the meaning the day has in Denver and the significance of World Aids Day this year in particular.
