In this Reggae Bloodlines interview on KGNU, DJ Soul Rock speaks with roots reggae artist Nga Han, who calls in from Scotland. Nga Han shares his gratitude for safe travels and discusses his upcoming musical projects, including several 7-inch releases and a new album, The Living Stream, Chapter Two. He also hints at a limited edition dub plate of his track “The Prayer” and expresses excitement about the possibility of performing live in Colorado. (Interview: 6/14/25)
DJ Soul Rock: All right. This is DJ Soul Rock. You’ve been tuned in to Reggae Bloodlines, and we have a very special guest with us today. Han is calling in all the way from Scotland, and we are so blessed to have you here. Thank you so much for joining us. Let’s check in — how are your travels going?
Nga Han: Greetings, one and all.
Yes, I give thanks. The travels are going very well — just giving thanks for the grace of God continually. Yeah, man.
DJ Soul Rock: Wonderful. We really enjoyed Temple in Man, and it was even on the KGNU charts. Do you have some new music that’s going to be gracing us soon?
Nga Han: Oh, wow. Yes — always new music to grace the people, you know. Several 7-inches and a new album later this year: The Living Stream, Chapter Two. And also, you know, an exclusive dub plate of “The Prayer.” The “Prayer” track as well is going to be on some limited edition release 7-inches — that is from the Temple in Man album as well.
DJ Soul Rock: I’m very excited. Mine should be in the mail, so, you know, I’m eagerly checking the post every day. We’ve been listening to several songs off of The Living Stream, Part One throughout the session today. Yes, we’re real excited too. I hear you might be coming to the Front Range and to Colorado to do some live shows?
Nga Han: Yes, it would be a great honor. There are definitely receptive ones in Colorado who love roots reggae music and are ready to receive the message. And iron sharpens iron — you know, we strengthen each other.
DJ Soul Rock: That’s so true. We feed each other. That’s one thing I love about our live reggae show — the crowd’s getting fed, but also the artist is getting fed as well. And we’re very excited to have you.
Nga Han: Thank you. I look forward to that. You know — Colorado massive, stay tuned!
DJ Soul Rock: Stay tuned, and you’ll hear it first here at KGNU Reggae Bloodlines.
I want to thank you so much for taking the time. I know it’s about seven or eight hours later where you are. We spoke last night, and I was blessed that you were still awake. Thank you so much.
Nga Han: No worries. We are wide awake and tuned in. So beautiful.
DJ Soul Rock: Thank you so much.
We’re going to play “Prayers” off Temple in Man, and stay tuned for new music coming your way — Living Stream, Part Two. We can’t wait. Thank you so much. Bless.
Nga Han: Blessed. One love.
