From September 11 through September 15 of 2013, never-before-seen flooding in the region caused countless people to lose their homes, and some to lose their lives. It has been a decade, and the Front Range is still recovering on a geographical, economical, and emotional level.

Guests on today’s episode are Katie Arrington, the Recovery and Resiliency Program Manager for Boulder County working on flood mitigation and recovery efforts since 2013, and Maeve Conran, former KGNU News Director and current Managing Editor at the Rocky Mountain Community Radio Coalition.

Hear about their experiences back in 2013, ongoing recovery efforts across the Front Range, and from listeners who called in to share their stories.
