Welcome to Jimtown

One of the hardest hit towns in last years flood was Jamestown in the foothills west of Boulder. For the past 4 years, Sylvia Welner has been a part-time resident of the town. She was on the first chinook rescue helicopter in the evacuation last September. Prior to the flood, she was inspired by the unique nature of the Jamestown to write a book “Welcome to Jimtown”. She’s having a book release party this evening at the Mercantile in Jamestown, and all proceeds from the book will benefit flood relief in the town.
