“I couldn’t say no to what my inner voice was saying.”
Steven Todd is the write-in candidate challenging Jared Polis in the Democratic Primary in Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District. He got started on this path when he realized that some progressive views were not being represented in the primary.
“I got to thinking that wouldn’t it be great if here locally our own congressman had a challenger because I saw Bernie entering that race making it so much more robust, and interesting, and important to be debating these issues as fellow progressives. I thought, we really need that in our congressional district.”
From that thought, Steven Todd started his journey to be a part of the local campaign. Maeve Conran talks with him about this journey, how he differs from Congressman Polis, and the way elections are run in this country.
