How can we support unhoused community members living in freezing temperatures?

Alexis Kenyon / KGNU

Overnight temperatures are forecast to drop into the twenties later this week. And as always, some of our fellow human beings will be sleeping outside. Thousands of folks are sleeping outside on any given night in Boulder and Denver, and across the United States, federal data from 2022 estimates almost 600,000 people are experiencing homelessness nationwide. What kind of support can community members provide on a local level, to their unhoused neighbors? Sam Fuqua and Jackie Sedley posed this question to one another, and to listeners, on this episode of A Public Affair.
