UndocuMonologues: Stories from the heart by undocumented community leaders on the frontline of U.S. immigration policy

MOTUS theater spotlights undocumented community leaders by allowing them to share their first-person stories of immigration. Their latest project UndocuAmerica, aims to interrupt the dehumanizing portrayals of immigrants by encouraging thoughtful engagement on the challenges facing the undocumented community and the assets immigrants bring to our country.

Today we’ll hear monologues from Armando Peniche and Laura Peniche. After each monologue we hear jazz legend Robert Johnson sing a musical response.
