Motus Theater’s UndocuAmerica interrupts the dehumanizing portrayals of immigrants by encouraging thoughtful engagement on the challenges facing the undocumented community and the assets immigrants bring to our country.
Motus worked with ten undocumented leaders to help them write powerful stories about their lives. Stories told are on a variety of themes, such as: the pain of being categorized as a criminal; losing family to deportation; the challenge of attending college without documentation; and being rejected by the country in which you were raised.
