The inaugural Theatre Made in Boulder Festival continues at the Dairy Arts Center in Boulder. The festival, which will run through February 11th is meant to encourage Boulder-based artists to take on a more significant role in their own community, and to show Boulder just how strong the theatre arts community truly is.
Premiering this weekend, is Trans/Actions, a docutransical that explores how to make the industry more inclusive of gender diversity through interviews, blog posts, online dating messages, poetry, song and dance. KGNU’s Veronica Straight-Lingo spoke with Woodzick, the Co-Writer and Director of Trans/Actions about their vision for the show, and the fact that this is actually their MFA thesis project.
