On today’s A Public Affair, KGNU’s Sam Fuqua talks with artist Joel Haertling about his exhibit at Canyon Gallery in the downtown branch of the Boulder Public Library. It’s a testament to Joel‘s passion for collecting and his appreciation for the history of the items he collects. The exhibit includes a plexiglass box full of transistor radios, a shelf of three-ring binders cataloging Joel‘s visits to garage sales over the years, and a pyramid of unopened cassette tapes. It’s a treasure trove of mid-20th century American culture.
