On this episode of A Public Affair, you’ll learn about The Mountain-Ear – that’s Nederland’s only local newspaper. It was founded in 1977, and serves not only Nederland’s population of over 1,500 people but also surrounding communities across Peak to Peak. They consider themselves the voice of the Peak to Peak, and publish in both Boulder County and Gilpin County. First, you’ll hear a conversation KGNU’s Jackie Sedley had with Barbara Hardt, the Managing Editor of The Mountain-Ear.
